Pavilion & Leeds Animation Workshop, 20 November 2014

Gill Park (Pavilion) and Terry Wragg (Leeds Animation Workshop) will be 'in conversation' in response to a screening of films made by Leeds Animation workshop from 1980 to the present day. The event explores the theme of women and work, and is programmed in relation to Rehana Zaman's Some Women, Other Women and All the Bittermen, currently showing at The Tetley. Zaman's film considers the role of the worker under global capitalism and includes documentary fragments filmed by and about female migrant workers from the self led organisation Justice for Domestic Workers Leeds, supported by Pavilion and Leeds Animation Workshop.
