The Problem of Perspective: Doncaster, 11 March 2017

The Problem of Perspective is a series of screenings illuminating a distinctly northern perspective on the history of artists’ moving image in England. The project surveys an array of production strategies deployed by video artists and filmmakers across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and Cumbria from the ‘60s to the early 2000s.

This edition of the project features work by Doncaster-based artist-filmmaker Peter Samson, including the premiere of his latest 16mm film. Work by artists including Patrick Keiller, Janey Walklin and Philip Trevelyan will also be screened.
