The Problem of Perspective: Hull, 26 March 2017

Organised by Pavilion, The Problem of Perspective is a series of screenings illuminating a distinctly northern perspective on the history of artists’ moving image in England. The project surveys an array of production strategies deployed by video artists and filmmakers across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and Cumbria from the ‘60s to the early 2000s. Drawing from the traditions of experimental cinema, video art and documentary film, this screening will connect work made in and around Hull with the broader landscape of artists' moving image in the north.
