Pavilion Commissions Programme 2007

The Pavilion Commissions Programme 2007 aims and objectives are as follows:

Through the Pavilion Commissions Programme 2007, Pavilion aims to make an important contribution to the UK photographic sector, in collaborating with emerging UK -based photographic practitioners to produce and showcase challenging and innovative work.

The aim outlined will be achieved through the following objectives:

1. Collaborate with four emerging UK-based practitioners to each develop and produce a new body of work.

2. Collaborate with partner organisations and practitioners to ensure the development, promotion and success of the Commissions Programme.

3. Exhibit the work commissioned at a recognised UK-based venue and position the work within contemporary critical debate.

4. Develop and deliver a curated programme of education, outreach-led events and interpretative material.
